Stars who have a hit debut on OTT

Have a look at the stars of Bollywood who have had a successful debut on OTT

MUMBAI : The debate on insider versus outsider is the hottest topic on social and electronic media. After the demise of a promising actor, the whole entertainment industry is shaken and many are opening up about nepotism that prevails in the industry.

But not all good actors have a background in the industry, and many or maybe most of them come from outside its reach, that is, from small towns or cities. They may not have had a very successful career economically but they are all brilliant actors and deliver a pure work of art.

And these actors are the ones the public remembers for a long time even if they are absent from the screen for quite a while. In these digital times, web series and movies are getting a lot of traction and rightly so.

These series are cast with wonderful actors, and they perform with utmost perfection. And in the recent past, we have witnessed this happening in series like Aarya, Asur, Your Honor, Palatal Lok, Mirzapur, Sacred Games, and many more.

Nothing can beat talent, and many actors making comebacks through these series have proven that. Interestingly, we found a big coincidence in some of these comeback stars. It all goes back to 1996 and movies like Dastak, Maachis, and Tere Mere Sapne. Whether it was Sushmita Sen (Dastak), Chandrachur Singh (Maachis/Tere Mere Sapne), Arshad Warsi (Tere Mere Sapne), or Jimmy Shergill (Maachis), they all debuted in the same year of 1996 and now they have all delivered brilliant shows in 2020 like Aarya, Asur, and Your Honor.

Having given amazing performances over the years, some of them have had huge gaps before they decided to come back. And we must say these gaps were all worth it because if anything they just came out to be more good. When you rope in such stars half of the task of making a successful show is done, of course, the other half depends on the story too.

With their amazing skills, these actors take the show to a whole new level, giving it all that might have lacked in other aspects. These stars are all self-made, and nobody was their godfather and the work they have done is immortal. Even when they had just started they made people sit up and take notice of them, and they continue to do so even now. The performer in them is always ready to perform and that too with full dedication.
