Speaking in brief about meeting the challenges as a writer, Sharad shared, “Well, a writer’s job has never been easy. It requires a lot of brainstorming and innovation. Amid lockdown when the entire industry was chilling at home and spending time with family, writers were the ones who were still working. With the sudden lockdown we have to now re-work on the storyline. There are lots of aspects which we have to keep in mind like we are not to allow more than five characters in one scene. Also, initially we have to write a few scenes where the starcast is seen educating masses about Covid. Also, we cannot show the gloomier side of pandemic but spread awareness and ask viewers to take adequate precautions. Since senior citizens are not allowed on the sets, sometimes their dupe will be made to shoot the scene wherein that particular actor’s close-ups will be shot at home. Basically there will be a lot of cheat scenes. There are lots of other nitty gritties which we have to keep in mind which only limit us as a writer.”
