This throwback video of Sushant Singh Rajput talking about Ankita Lokhande will leave you teary-eyed

MUMBAI: Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was in a long-term relationship with his Pavitra Rishta co-star Ankita Lokhande before the couple decided to part ways. Sushant and Ankita first met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta in 2009 and went on to become overnight stars due to the show. Later, SSR left the show but continued to be in a relationship with Ankita until 2016.

On Instagram, an old video of Sushant Singh Rajput from his interview with Niranjan Iyengar has surfaced. In the video, madly in love, Sushant talks about his then-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. Talking about Love, Sushant said, “Mohabbat main nahi hai fark jeene aur marne ka, ussi ko dekh kar jeete hai jis kaafir pe dum nikle.” As SSR expressed how he feels about the idea of love, the actor continued to talk about Ankita and his relationship and her importance in his life.

Speaking about his relationship with Ankita, late Sushant Singh Rajput said, “Since the last six and a half years, Ankita has been very patient, very loving and she is very excited to be with me. So I don’t want to take a chance. She’s beautiful and I love her. I just want to be with her.” The actor mentioned he did not want to take a chance of losing her as she loved her too much. Talking about relationships, SSR said, “If you want to break a relationship every day you can come up with only one excuse, if you want to survive a relationship you will find a hundred excuses every day to survive a relationship and I just cannot do without her."
