MUMBAI : Shaheer Sheikh is currently seen in Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke which is Star Plus' most popular show. The actor is slaying in the role of Abeer and fans are loving every bit of it. Shaheer's onscreen pairing with Rhea Sharma has worked wonders.
While Shaheer has been a part of the number of hit shows before but the actor had once revealed in his interview that people were shocked to hear when they came to know that he has signed Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke which is a full-fledged daily soap.
Revealing the reason behind it, Shaheer said that he was very clear that daily soaps are not his thing as the heroes don’t get much screen space. They don’t have a story to tell nor do they have a character graph.

However, Shaheer who was initially hesitant to take up the show but he took the challenge and nailed like a boss.
