Talking EXCLUSIVELY to us, Abhishek Sharma said, "When we all did that film. We all were skeptical that what will be the fate of the film. But I feel really lucky that I could be a part of Hritik Roshan's debut film and I want to thanks Rakesh Roshan uncle for getting me this opportunity. After the film got released, I used to get wonderful responses from people. Agar aap mere abhi gaal dekhenge to vo us picture ki wajah se hi bhaut bade hain. As whoever used to come and compliment me, they will pull my cheeks first saying 'oh God ye kitna cute hai'. Because when I finished the shoot I was just 9-year-old. But yaa at that age also when people used to come towards me and say that you have done a good job, I used to feel really nice".

Sharing the reason for his shift from Bollywood to TV, Abhishek shared, "The reason I didn't continue to do Bollywood films is because I took a sabbatical for my studies. After completing my schooling, I went directly to the stage acting and I did a play with Paritosh Paintal and Delnaaz Irani called 'Paying Guest'. We did that for almost a year and after that, I went to television and started my journey with 'Miley Jab Hum Tum'. Bollywood couldn't happen after that as my focus completely shifted to TV but now I want to do Bollywood and anybody who is reading this let me tell you I am ready".

When asked if he feels that making a mark in Bollywood is difficult and TV actors don't get accepted easily, Abhishek said, "I will not deny the fact there was a time when people there used to say that TV actors ko nahi lena. But now the scenario has changed and to prove that we have so many good examples in front of us. In fact, now there are actors who went to TV and now venturing into Bollywood again like Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor who are fantastic on all the mediums. I personally feel that people are now just dragging that topic and we should now stop saying that. All I understand is the audience simply wants good acting and fresh faces now".

Coming back to his series Date Gone Wrong season 2, Abhishek also shared an interesting date of him that went totally wrong. He recalled, "This was a very funny date when I had gone out with this girl to a bar. I was having a couple of beers and she had just one beer basically she used to not drink and she had it just to show it off. After that, it was ride back home which I can't forget my entire life and I was like oh my God why did I even come out. The situation became as such that I kind of messaged my friend to call me and say 'Bhai tu kidhar hai? Jaldi aa' to come out. She was so high that she constantly kept asking me what happened continuously".
