MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, and his death sent a shockwave across the nation. Since then, many fans have been relentlessly demanding a CBI inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Shekhar Suman and Roopa Ganguly are among those who have been demanding a CBI probe. Now, advocate Ishkaran Bhandari, who was appointed by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, tweeted yesterday calling for a peaceful protest seeking justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, and asked people to use the hashtag which was decided to be #Candle4SSR.
In his tweet, Ishkaran Bhandari wrote, “It was decided by today during my YouTube Live that Tomorrow all those who want Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput will do peaceful protest & light candle, at 8 pm. #Candle4SSR - this hashtag (people decided) for tomorrow. Tag me with pics at 8 pm on 22July. So I can Retweet!” Well, fans have joined in and have been sharing pictures with a lit candle or diya, using the hashtag #Candle4SSR. In fact, #Candle4SSR has become the topmost trend on Twitter, with more than 482K tweets so far.

Sushant’s brother-in-law Vishal Kirti also shared a picture of a lit candle, and wrote, “Wherever you are, stay blessed.” Many fans posted pictures lighting up a diya or a candle, and while one fan wrote, “#Candle4SSR It is in the dark, not the light, that a candle shines the brightest. Justice shall be served photon... Its a matter of time @ishkarnBHANDARIThank you for leading this!,” another tweet read, “Sending all the positive and good vibes for Sushant , Lets promise here that We will not stop till justice being served. #Candle4SSR.” Take a look.
