MUMBAI : Yesterday evening, on July 24, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi starrer Dil Bechara finally hit the OTT platform and fans were in complete awe of this movie. Not just them, even filmmaker Hansal Mehta was impressed by the film which left him weeping. However, before he could review Mukesh Chhabra's directorial debut, he tweeted that Disney+ Hotstar, on which the movie is streaming, had crashed. Nevertheless, Mehta then watched the film and gave a very heart-warming review of the film. He called Dil Bechara a charming and wonderful film.
While taking to his Twitter handle, he tweeted, "#DilBechara by a sad twist of fame is seen as a tribute to #SushanthSinghRajput. This film while giving us a last glimpse of a life sadly lost sparkles also because of #SanjanaSanghi, @swastika24 and because of @CastingChhabra." While continuing his review, Hansal said to watch the film to remember Sushant and his body of work and for the director of the film as his tweet read, "It is a charming film, a good adaptation and a wonderful debut by Mukesh Chhabra. The choice of location, the cinematography and ensemble cast is very good. Watch #DilBechara to remember Sushant and his body of work. Watch it also for Mukesh Chhabra's assured debut."

He then concluded by saying that Dil Bechara got him emotional and teary-eyed while also praising the music of the film. "The film had me weeping... The tragedy of a life gone too soon or the tragedy unfolding with young lives on screen both had me muddled up and teary-eyed - even in moments of humour. And that title track by @arrahman and #AmitabhBhattacharya is a mesmerising melody. #DilBechara," his last tweet read.
