MUMBAI: It was last week that the sad news of Sanjay Dutt being diagnosed with lung cancer had hit the web. Taking to his Instagram, the actor announced taking a break from work due to his medical treatment for the same. Ever since then, all his fans and well-wishers have been pouring in wishes for his recovery. Amid the same, yesterday night, Sanjay Dutt’s Sadak 2 co-star Alia Bhatt, along with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, was spotted at actor’s residence to meet him.

Some pictures of the same are going viral on social media. They see Ranbir and Alia exiting Sanjay Dutt’s house together. While Alia Bhatt was wearing a grey tee and loose black pants, Ranbir was sporting denim jacket under a black tee with blue pants. Coincidentally, the trailer of Sadak 2 was also launched yesterday. Before his diagnosis, Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Lilavati Hospital over breathlessness, his COVID-19 test had come negative. The actor is suffering from an aggressive stage of lung cancer and will be jetting off to the US for its treatment.
Taking to his Twitter, Sanjay Dutt had written, "Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry if unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon.”
An excerpt from Sanjay’s wife Maanayata’s statement read, “Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead. All we seek is your prayers and blessings, and we know we will emerge as winners on the other side, as we always have. Let us use this opportunity to spread light and positivity.”
