MUMBAI: After being interrogated by Enforcement Directorate in money laundering case against Rhea Chakraborty and family, brother Showik now reached at CBI’s SIT (Special Investigation Team). CBI is in full swing ever since they landed in Mumbai to investigate the reason behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide. After Rhea being the prime accused in the SSR case, Showik is also one of the accused. First, it was SSR’s flatmate and content manager Siddharth Pithani, then cook Neeraj, and then former accountant Rajat Mewati who were seen reaching CBI’s DRDO office for the interrogation. And now here’s an interesting development, Rhea’s brother Showik is the latest one to arrive at CBI’s SIT office.
According to the latest report in India Today, Showik has arrived at the DRDO office for the questioning in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. As the news revelations like drug-angle have emerged, CBI is in touch with ED and even Narcotics Control Bureau have called in Showik for the interrogation. During her first ever interview with India Today, Rhea opened up about SSR’s bond with Showik.
She told the channel, “Showik had a great bonding with Sushant. Even we used to joke that Showik is my "sautan". Sushant, Showik and I were partners in a company called Rhealityx, which dealt with artificial intelligence. It was Sushant who named the company after me. To be a partner in the company, one has to pay Rs 33,000. I paid for Showik as he couldn't pay because he didn't have a job. Showik was preparing for CAT exams and was skeptical if he should join us. Sushant insisted Showik to join us in our Europe trip.”

Meanwhile, on ED’s letter and Rhea’s WhatsApp chat, NCB has officially filed a case against Rhea Chakraborty, who was reportedly dealing with drug peddlers.
