Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: SSR’s family lawyer claims that the family was forced to sign the police statement

A big revelation is coming in from SSR’s lawyer. He says that the family was forced to sign the statement given to Mumbai cops as they didn’t understand Marathi.

MUMBAI: Rhea recently gave interviews on various media channels and put allegations on SSR's family, saying that they knew about his mental health and also released WhatsApp chats regarding some tablets being prescribed to the actor by his sister. This has angered the family, and now, through their lawyer they have released a statement.

Family lawyer Vikas Singh held a press conference and quoted to Times Now that when the family signed the statement that the police recorded, they were unaware of what was written as the language used was Marathi.

They also requested the police to read the statement in Hindi, but they refused to do so and forced them to sign on the statement, which is now being used against them. They do not understand the language and what the Mumbai cops have written.

This raises more questions on the Mumbai Police as to why was the statement was not read out in Hindi and why the family's consent was not taken.

Vikas made it clear that the family didn’t claim it was a suicide and warned the channels that if anyone spreads any type of lies, they will sue them and take strict action against them.

Well, the investigation is on, and we hope the truth shall be out soon!
