MUMBAI: The CBI has begun its investigation in the SSR case, and from Rhea to SSR’s staff, everyone has been questioned and interrogated by the agency.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager Shruti Modi too was called in by the ED and the CBI for questioning. As per Times of India, her lawyer has stated that Shruti wanted to quit within 10 days of joining Sushant's team as she got to know about his alleged drug consumption.

He also stated that when Shruti found about the drug angle, she had decided to quit the job, but then, it was the actor who told her to stay back and said he will not be a party to it. Thus, on this condition, she decided to work with him.

He also revealed that SSR’s family has dragged her name into it as they have some grievances against her. She didn’t follow some interactions of the sister, who wanted some account details, which she declined to give, reports Times of India.

Well, the investigation is underway by all three top agencies (ED, CBI, and NCB), and we hope there is a lead soon.
