MUMBAI: The Narcotics Control Bureau started investigating Sushant Singh Rajput's death case after the Enforcement Directorate reportedly found proofs of Rhea Chakraborty, brother Showik Chakraborty, and others allegedly dealing in drugs. Later, WhatsApp chats of Rhea Chakraborty and friends like Samuel Miranda, Siddharth Pithani and others came to fore that allegedly had them discussing how to procure narcotics and use them. Now, NCB has registered a case against Rhea and others, and the investigation is on.
In a massive move, the NCB has raided Rhea Chakraborty's home in Mumbai, as reported by Republic. It has also been reported that the NCB officials have also raided Samuel Miranda's home. Samuel was one of the core team members of Sushant Singh Rajput. It was recently that the NCB nabbed a drug peddler and reportedly, a link between him and Rhea's brother Showik got established. Further details of these raids by NCB are yet to be known.
Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 and since then investigating agencies like CBI, ED and NCB have come in to investigate the case. While the CBI is investigating the death case, ED came into picture to probe the money laundering angle after Sushant's father mentioned financial irregularities in his son's bank accounts. Later, the Narcotics Control Bureau came into picture to investigate the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

The actor was reportedly found hanging in his apartment in Bandra on June 14. Reports suggest that the actor was suffering from depression.
