MUMBAI: Voot Select is soon coming up with a new espionage thriller web-series titled Crackdown. Directed by Shootout at Lokhandwala and Haseena Parkar fame Apoorva Lakhia, Crackdown features Saqib Salim, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Iqbal Khan, Waluscha, Rajesh Tailang, and Ankur Bhatia in the lead roles.

We hear that actor Ajay Choudhary is the latest addition in the starcast!

According to our sources, Ajay will depict the role of a terrorist and his look will be quite interesting.

Ajay is a well-known television artist who gained immense love with his character portrayal in shows like Phulwa, Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, Uttaran, Rishton Ka Chakravyuh and last seen in Tenali Rama.

Ajay confirmed being part of the project!

Amitabh Bachchan, a close friend of director Lakhia took to Twitter to reveal the teaser of the Voot Select original. “T 3657 – Happy to reveal #CrackdownOnVoot, my friend #lakhiaapoorva’s new show on @vootselect. All the very best Apu!” he tweeted.

Crackdown will stream on Voot Select from September 23.
