Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: Two FDs worth 4.5 crores were converted to one FD of 1 crore in November

MUMBAI : The Sushant Singh Rajput case is becoming murkier as more and more revelations are coming out. As we write this, the CBI is carrying out its investigation and is interrogating the prime suspects in the case.

The ED had stepped into the case when SSR’s family had filed an FIR against Rhea, accusing the actress of money laundering from SSR’s account. 

Now, as per Republic Bharat, SSR had two fixed deposits on 26 November 2019, one worth 2 crores and the other worth 2.5 crores, thus amounting to 4.5 crores in all. However, within 48 hours, this was converted into a single FD of 1 crore.

In a span of two days, someone had withdrawn this money from his account.

The ED will be probing this to determined who was handling his funds and who had withdrawn such a big amount from his account.

Republic Bharat suggests that the ED will be seeking every single detail of all the bank accounts of SSR.

SSR’s family had also lodged a FIR against Rhea, claiming that she used to drug SSR and handle his finances. According to them, a lot of money has been withdrawn from his account that they are unaware of. 

The investigating is on, and soon, more details will be out.
