MUMBAI: A video clip of a man throwing a dog in a lake has gone viral on social media. Actor Vipul Roy posted the video on his profile and requested the authorities to punish him.
The actor wrote, “I am from bhopal and this guy is also from there - can’t believe. Just for freaking few likes these guys have lost their mind??????? Insanity -cruelty to the core @mppoliceofficial @bhopalmunicipalcorporation @animalsabove Serious action has to be taken @aloksharmaofficial je.”

Several users supported Vipul. They wrote, “lzz inform the authorities to tk some strick action for this... This is barbaric nd brutality... Plz sir do whtevr u can do.” Many wrote, “Shame on you,” seeing the video.
On the personal front, he came back to Mumbai from his hometown Bhopal earlier last month. He was planning to tie the knot with his US-based fiancée Melis Atici in August but has postponed the wedding owing to the pandemic.
