MUMBAI: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 made a loyal fan base for itself, and now the sad part is that it has come to an end. The last scene for the serial was shot a few days ago, after which it was a wrap up for it. The final episode will be shown on 3 October. Now Aashish Bhardhwaj has reacted to the development.
Aashish plays the role of Mohnish in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. It is his debut serial. He told a leading daily that the fate of the show would have been different, if Parth Samthaan hadn’t quit.

In an interview with ETimes, he mentioned that he was very excited about bagging the role, but his happiness was short-lived.
When asked what went wrong with the serial, he said, “The show’s TRPs dipped as there were a few replacements initially like Aamna Sharriff replaced Hina Khan, who played the popular character of Komolika and then Karan Singh Grover was replaced by Karan Patel as Mr Bajaj. The key characters of the show got replaced, so this might be one of the reasons for the dip in the show's popularity. Also, had Parth not decided to quit, Kasautii’s fate would have been different.”
