Fallon started their conversation by talking about how two years back on their debut Tonight Show appearance, Suga had confessed that BTS' dream was to go to the Grammys, which they eventually did. RM spoke about how the members grew up watching about the prestigious award show, giving a shout out to Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, TI, Kanye West and MIA's epic 2009 performance. "Winning a Grammy in such difficult times could give greater hopes and dreams to a lot of people. Especially our ARMY and Jimmy," Namjoon added.

Talking about BTS' success with the No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, Yoongi said that the boys couldn't believe it when they saw the chart while the members kept thinking, "Is it real?" Talking about how BTS wasn't originally going to release Dynamite before choosing to do so, J-Hope explained, "People around the world are going through a difficult time because of the pandemic. We also felt discouraged by the situation. So, we took on a new challenge which was Dynamite. This project was not only for us but also for our fans, who we wanted to energise and give joy to during this difficult period."

About their seventh anniversary celebrations, V revealed that they had to rehearse for Bang Bang Con: The Live, and while they celebrated with champagne, they also wrapped up early as the concert took place a day after their big anniversary.

Fallon asked BTS for details on their upcoming album. Jimin revealed, "We poured in the emotions that we feel now, such as joy and sorrow, into this album. There are a lot of good songs as good as Dynamite, so we hope that they can all make it onto the Hot 100 chart. Please look forward to it!"
