MUMBAI: Almost a month ago, Rhea was arrested by the NCB under the NDPS act for procuring and consuming drugs. Now, after spending many days in jail, she has been granted bail by the High Court. However, her brother Showik’s bail has been rejected.
As per Times Now, Rhea’s lawyer has said that he is extremely happy with the verdict of the Bombay High Court as her arrest was uncalled for and was a witch-hunt against her.
He also said that all three agencies (ED, NCB, and CBI) should stop harassing his client and should be investigating the probe fairly.

Her lawyer said that truth shall prevail and justice will be done. He is grateful to the court for granting bail to his client.
The actress was granted bail on the basis of lack of evidence and the fact that only one chat showed she was discussing drugs.
It is a win for team Rhea, but she still remains an accused in front of the CBI. Until she isn’t given a clean chit from the agency, she is still a part of the case.
