MUMBAI: The last few days have shocked the family and people across the globe who are fighting for justice for SSR.
As per India Today, the actor's family lawyer held a press conference yesterday where he questioned the AIIMS report.
Vikas Singh (SSR’s family lawyer) said that the AIIMS' responsibility was to only give an opinion about the report submitted by Cooper Hospital. They had to convey whether the report suggested if there was any evidence of murder or suicide but they are not authorised to give the conclusion.
He also claimed that hanging doesn't necessarily mean it's a suicide and that someone could have made him unconscious and then hung him. But since the viscera reports aren’t sufficient to come to a conclusion, how can the AIIMS give a conclusive report.
Well, the family has demanded a new team to study the forensic reports and give a second opinion.
The CBI investigation is still on, and let’s hope that justice is served.
