Reportedly, the actors of Chhoti bahu apparently went on a strike yesterday stalling the shoot over monetary differences with the production house. The aggrieved party according to sources included the male lead of the show Avinash Sachdev, Priyanka Mishra, Prabha Sinha and veteran Rita Bhaduri. Informs a source, “The cast of the show including Ritaji, Avinash, Priyanka, Prabhaji and Gopi Desai had stalled the shoot yesterday for a good half an hour. Apparently, they had some monetary differences with the production house. They demanded the production house to clear their dues else they wouldn’t start the shoot. Reportedly, the shoot resumed only when the actors received a call from the production house who requested them to commence the shoot and promised that their dues will be cleared failing which the actors were free to halt the shoot.” We contacted Priyanka Mishra aka Vishakha who rubbished the rumour and said, “Who is fanning this rumour? This is rubbish.” Sachdev was busy and asked us to call him later. Despite repeated attempts and text messages, we couldn’t get through producer Tony Singh.
