MUMBAI: Celebrities become a part of our lives, all thanks to their memorable roles which they portray onscreen. It is always a heartbreaking moment when the fans get to know about their tragic end.
A lot of popular faces from the film and TV industry left for the heavenly abode over the years leaving everyone shocked. While many died due to some kind of medical complications, many passed away in tragic accidents. However, there were a few who had an untimely death after they underwent surgery.
So, here's a list of celebrities from various parts of the film and TV industry who had a tragic end after undergoing surgery.

1. Aarthi Agarwal
The 31-year-old South actress Aarthi died of cardiac arrest in a hospital in the US after a failed liposuction surgery. She had starred in nearly 25 movies in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Her last Telugu film, Ranam 2, was released in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh just a day before her death.
2. Kavi Kumar Azad
Kavi Kumar Azad who weighed a whopping 200 kg had reduced his weight by 80 kg from surgery. The surgery was successful but after that, he continued to struggle with physical problems. The actor suddenly passed away of a heart attack in 2018. While some say it was because of his weight loss treatment, some say Kavi was an alcoholic. The actor had complained of chest pain after which he was immediately taken to the hospital. He was unconscious on his way to the hospital but was declared dead by doctors on arrival at the hospital.
3. Mishti Mukherjee
The bong beauty had a tragic end to her life after both her kidneys had failed due to the Keto Diet. The actress took her last breath in Bengaluru. Reports further stated that the actress was in a lot of pain in her last days.
4. Rakesh Deewana
He has starred in many films and TV shows too. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to be one of them. Rakesh underwent surgery to reduce obesity. However, the actor passed away just four days after the surgery.
5. Luisel Ramos
Luisel Ramos died of heart failure caused by anorexia nervosa while participating in a fashion show. She died at the age of 22. Her father had told police that she had gone several days without eating. She was reported to have adopted a diet of lettuce and Diet Coke for the three months before her death.
Well, it's high time people take such treatments seriously and avoid doing it.
