Milind Gunaji never believes in preparing for a role

Tellychakar.com was the first to report about ace actor Milind Gunaji entering Fireworks Productions’ show on Life OK, Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath. We recently caught up with Milind to know more about his role. Said Milind, “I have a very good association with producer B P Singh and his team. Many years back, I had featured in an episodic of CID where I played a criminal. And the working atmosphere with them was really amazing. Actually, B P Singh had shown interest in me playing the central character in one of their shows, but that did not materialize. So I had to take up this as I was waiting to get associated with them.” On his role in Shapath, the actor stated, “I play an ACP who is ruthless when it comes to his profession. He is a man of very few words, and has had a very bad past which lingers in his mind always. I will be starting to shoot very soon.” Milind added, “I have always been appreciated in roles where I play a cop. My movie Fareb gave me lot of fame. In addition to playing a cop, I am always liked by masses when I play a terrorist. And after playing Shahaji Raje in Veer Shivaji, I wanted to do something different.” On the kind of preparation he will undertake for this role in Shapath he opined, “I never believe in preparing for a role. In fact, we keep observing so many diverse characters in our real life, and that gets etched in my mind. And minutes before I don a new role, I recollect the characters I have observed and whatever I shoot is a spur of the moment reaction.” You are a true actor, Milind!!
