MUMBAI: The festivities leading to Anupamaa and Vanraj's wedding on October 19 is quite intriguing. From Kavya ruining Anupamaa's mehendi to Anupamaa's mangalsutra breaking, the upcoming wedding sequence of Rajan Shahi's show "Anupamaa" is full of suspense. While Kavya is quite ecstatic for her wedding, Anupamaa is not too happy because of the bad omens.
After the dramatic mehendi function, the Shah family is all set for Anupamaa's haldi and sangeet, and Kavya, too, is preparing for her haldi. While the kids are busy making it the most memorable event of their parents' lives, babuji asks Anupamaa if he can do her kanyadaan. Even mamaji tags along and says that he will be from Anupamaa's side who is more than a daughter to them.
The sangeet ceremony begins and Samar-Nandini and Paritosh-Kinjal perform on "Neend churai teri" from "Golmaal Again". Even Anupamaa and Vanraj give a performance on "Jalte diye" from "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". It was during these festivities that Nandini shared Kavya and Vanraj's secret wedding plan to Paritosh. She tells him that the day Anupamaa and Vanraj are going to get married again, Vanraj will also be tying a mangalsutra on Kavya. Paritosh is taken aback by this and looks at Nandini in shock.
