Remo D’Souza shares it was easiest for him to direct Prabhudeva for Street Dancer 3D

MUMBAI: Sony MAX is all set to bring the World Television Premiere of Street Dancer 3D this Navratri, 18th October at 8 PM for all its discerning viewers. Starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and a congregation of some of the best Bollywood dancers, Street Dancer 3D is sure to pack a punch with its stupendous dance moves, a gripping storyline and an important message.

Sharing some off-screen moments, Remo D’Souza shares, “While I have shared screen with Prabhudeva during judging sessions and dancing along, it was easiest to direct him on the sets. When he comes on the set as an actor, he behaves like an actor. He does exactly what a director wants. When we were recreating Muqabala for Street Dancer 3D Prabhudeva had to wear a green mask. He came back to me asking why do I need him to put on this mask and perform when anyone from the talented set of dancers here can do it with utmost ease. I had to convince him that not everyone can do this and it is his body language that makes it unique. I further explained him that not even his shadow can do better than him. Hence, he had to do the part.”

“I am glad that the audience can relate to the story and the music of the movie. Among all the chartbuster songs my personal favourite songs are Pind, Dua Karo and Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.”

On the success of the film, Remo shares, “Besides entertaining the audience, I wanted the story of Street Dancer 3D to be more humane. The storyline is highly relatable in the present scenario, and I believe that's why Bollywood fans, especially kids, loved the movie. The film delivers the right message to the audience to trust their abilities and also make them believe that with hard work and determination, everything is possible. I am glad that the audience can relate to the story and the music of the movie. Among all the chartbuster songs my personal favourite songs are Pind, Dua Karo and Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.”

One of the most loved movies of the year, Street Dancer 3D has created a special place in every Bollywood fans' heart. The movie is a treat for every dance lover as it presents an opportunity to witness Prabhu Deva dance to the electrifying song ‘Muqabla’ 25 years after he first set the screen on fire with his mesmerizing moves. Besides the legendry Prabhu Deva, fans can also witness Bollywood's latest dancing sensation - Nora Fatehi raising the temperatures with the elegantly sensuous number, ‘Garmi’.

The film promises an exciting battle between two rival dance troupes who eventually unite for a brilliant cause. Alongside Varun and Shraddha in lead roles, the film also features Aparshakti Khurana and Sonam Bajwa amongst others in pivotal roles.
