TellyChakkar.com has exclusively learned that many crew members including actors have contracted the novel Coronavirus. Anita Raj, Director Jaladh Sharma, Geetika Mehandru, Amal Sherawat along with other two members have been found COVID-19 positive.
While Anita Raj and Geetika Mehandru are under home quarantine, Jaladh Sharma is critically ill and is admitted to a hospital. Amal went to his hometown Delhi because of ill health. He later discovered that he, too, is COVID-19 positive. In the past, Krishna Soni who plays the character of Robbie was also found positive of the novel coronavirus. However, he later recovered.
A source from the sets on the request of anonymity said, “In spite of so many members of the sets being affected, the shoot hasn’t been stalled and is going on in the full swing. The cast and crew are not even informed about the positive cases on the sets so that others who were in contact with them can take necessary precautions. With time the amount of precautions that were taken on the sets were compromised considerably which indirectly resulted in a rapid increase in the cases.”
We couldn’t connect with the actors for a comment.
Our efforts to reach out to the producers went in vain.
Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
