Dhoom 3 co-actor Siddharth Nigam lauds his hometown Prayagraj for his professional success

I am what I am today because of Prayagraj, says Siddharth Nigam.

MUMBAI: Having worked in several films and TV serials, actor Siddharth Nigam has made a special place for himself in the entertainment industry today.

However, the actor, who now lives in Mumbai, says that he will always remain an Allahabadi all his life.

“I was born and brought up in this beautiful city, Allahabad now Prayagraj. The most cherished memories of my life, especially those of my childhood, are from here. So where ever I go, at heart I will always remain an Allahabadi.”, says the Dhoom 3 actor.

He adds, “Even though we were not very well off financially then, yet we used to have so much fun in Prayagraj. From going to school and college to making my first set of friends, everything happened in this city. I still miss those lanes of Prayagraj where I used to cycle and where I became the number one cyclist in the city. It was while riding the bicycle in those lanes that I developed an interest in athletics.”.

Talking about the best part of staying in the Sangam city, Siddharth, who is presently seen in the serial Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga says, “The most happening thing about staying in Prayagraj used to be the out of the world experience of visiting the Kumbh and the Maha Kumbh. We used to eagerly wait for the mega event to happen in our city. As a kid, the main attraction during the mela was the jhulaas.”.

Siddharth adds on, “My brother and I, along with our mother, used to enjoy those rides. It will not be an exaggeration if I say that the days spent in Prayagraj were the best days of my life. Now since I am living in Mumbai, I miss my friends at home a lot. I wish I could turn back time and get those days back again.”.

Crediting the city for his professional success, the Chandra Nandini actor says, “I am what I am today because of Prayagraj.
