This Navratri, the Gokuldham society gets into a competition mode in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

MUMBAI: SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms) is known for celebrating festivals with much pomp and splendour.

Similarly, the festival of Navratri will be celebrated in a grand way. Every year we see Gokuldham society members celebrate Navratri by playing Garba. However, this time they have got into a competition mode where they will perform garba in pairs.

Popatlal will be pairing up with Babita while Iyer and Jethaalal too have decided to cast aside any aspersions between the two of them and pair up in the true spirit of Navratri to deliver their best performance.

Madhavi and Bhide, Roshan and Sodhi, Komal and Dr. Haathi, Anjali and Taarak Mehtta, Abdul and Bagha, Tapu sena and even Champaklal are all excited to prepare for their performances in the Society’s festivities. Everyone is practicing and the atmosphere is charged up.

Each pair performed Garba in their own styles and gave a tough competition to others for the winning title. Dazzling in the traditional Garba outfits, Gokuldhaamites showed everyone that with a little ingenuity and lots of zeal, it is possible to celebrate festivals while following all precautionary measures.
