Monaz Mevawalla wants a guy "who will impress and sweep her off her feet"

Monaz Mevawalla who essays the role of Jharna in Rajshri Productions’ Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga on Sahara One does not approve of the custom wherein a groom lives in the bride’s house as ‘Ghar Jamaai’. Even though Jharna’s husband Raj (Pravin Hingonia) is shown to be a ‘Patni Vrata Pati’ living in his mother-in-law Angana Raichand’s house (Sudha Chandran) in the show, in real life she would never want this to happen with her. Says Monaz about her point of view, “I want a real man and my family will throw me out of the house if my husband came to live with them (smiles). Personally I do not approve of this practice.” Monaz who has had a string of unsuccessful relations before feels she has learnt with time. “I have now learnt what I do not want in life. I do not want a mama’s boy; all I want is my boy.” The actress does not wish to have an arranged marriage. “I have met many guys from Ahmedabad, but I did not like even one of them. My family has now given me a free hand to choose my life partner.” When quizzed about her current relationship status, Monaz is quick to say, “I am single and ready to mingle, but I want somebody who really impresses me and sweeps me off my feet. I want a smart and good looking guy, who will love me unconditionally.” Monaz, may you get your Mr. Right very soon.
