Television viewers are gearing up for yet another season of Bigg Boss on Colors and with it will come the tension, controversies, bad mouthing and fights. But how is life inside the Bigg Boss house and what do you gain from the experience once you are out of the locked rooms? Tellychakkar.com managed to have a chat with the handsome guy Samir Soni (contestant in Season 4) who exhibited quite a lot of patience during his stay in the house. Here is Samir describing the entire experience, “The past two years of my life have been very interesting. I thank my wife Neelam for getting me all the luck. When it comes to Bigg Boss, the contest is not between the 13 or 14 contestants, but between the makers and the contestant. The mix of contestants is chosen on the contrasting personalities which are bound to create friction. Contestants are put through a series of tests to check out their mettle. For example, after my fight with Dolly Bindra, they purposely created a game where I had to act like a helper to Dolly who was made the Queen. I could have lost my mind there but I held my nerve.” Samir goes on, “However, I felt in the last year it appeared as though the public was voting out people who were silent. A point to be noted here is that the creative team can show only a particular emotion of a contestant because they need to shrink everything that happens in 24 hours into an episode of the program.” Samir Soni refused to comment on the over-the-top behaviour of certain contestants like Dolly Bindra, Pooja Mishra saying, “Who are we to judge what is right and wrong? You never know, these people might have entered the house with a specific agenda. Bigg Boss is a huge platform and some want to grab attention by doing something extraordinary or by revealing particular facets of their personality. The reason why I was there is because I wanted to gain experience. I wanted to see how people can be locked in a house without a watch or phone. Contrary to public perceptions, I enjoyed the show as it brings out your true personality.” Samir, we must say, the channel Colors is lucky for you as you managed to grab the lead role in Parichay post your stint in Bigg Boss…
