MUMBAI: Actor Varun Badola, who has been part of the entertainment industry for more than two decades, has entertained viewers with his varied roles and impeccable acting skills.
Varun Badola is currently seen playing the lead role as Amber in Sony Entertainment Television’s Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. However, the show is coming to an end and the actors are expected to wrap-up the shoot very soon. The show will air its last episode on 19 November.
While you will miss the cute antic and funny knok-jhoks of the characters on-screen and the actors putting up all the fun they have on the set of the show off-screen, we have some good news as soon, the fans can look forward to Varun in an upcoming film!
According to our sources, Varun has bagged a sports-drama titled Rashmi Rocket. The shooting has already begun. It is directed by Akarsh Khurana and also stars Priyanshu Painyuli. Taapsee will be seen playing the role of an athlete in the film while Priyanshu will play the role of her husband. Rashmi Rocket is written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon. The film is slated to release next year.
Varun confirmed the news of being part of the film.
Taapsee Pannu plays the role of a Gujarati girl named Rashmi in the film, who is a fast runner because of which her fellow villagers have nicknamed her ‘Rocket’.
