MUMBAI: Mass movie maker Rohit Shetty has won the hearts of fans all over the globe with his immense talent. Ever since his first movie, the audience loved his work. His 2013 movie Chennai Express was much appreciated.
The movie featured Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan in the leads and was a massive hit because of the amazing chemistry between SRK and Deepika and the superb storytelling. The leads also acted well, and the accent picked up by Deepika in the movie was loved by all.
But did you know that Deepika was not the first choice for the movie? You heard it right. The movie was offered to Bebo, but Kareena walked away because she had date issues as she was shooting for Talaash. Thus, the role went to Deepika.

Well, Kareena Kapoor is an amazing actor and would have justice to the role in her own way. But watching Deepika Padukone in the movie was a treat for us, and the actress defined versatility with her performance.
