MUMBAI: Bollywood has seen many big and small names over the years, we have witnessed many new actors getting launched every year but as we all know that very few are capable of doing big in Bollywood and gets all the love and attention from the fans all over.
Some of the actors have created big names in Bollywood and had left the acting industry for their personal or any other reason, having said that let us all look into the names of the very well-known actresses from the ’90s who could not manage to do big in Bollywood.

Mamta Kulkarni

Mamta Kulkarni is a former Indian actress and model. She gave the reason for leaving the entertainment industry in her autobiography titled “Autobiography of a Yogini” which came out in 2013.
Ayesha Jhulka

Sadly, the actress hasn’t given any hit films after these two blockbusters. The actress left the industry and focused on other things that were also part of her life. Ayesha made her Bollywood comeback with the movie Genius in 2018 which also went unnoticed. Again, it was the poor selection of scripts that destroyed her acting career.
Neha

She featured in a movie like Fiza (2000) and Rahul (2001) that failed to generate ticket sales. Neha’s real name is Shabana Raza. She married Manoj Bapayee in 2006 and quit her acting career in the Bollywood industry.
Nagma

She has also done some hit movies in the industry and then shifted to the South Indian film industry. Nagma is also featured in some Bhojpuri movies as well. For the record, she won the best actress award for the Bhojpuri movie ‘Dulha Milal Dilbar’. Nagma joined politics in 2004 and represented the Congress. In an interview, she stated that “My mom is Muslim and my dad is Hindu. We were brought up to respect all religions. Communal riots pained me. I wanted to do something. So I joined politics.”
Anu Aggarwal

Anu Aggarwal is best known for her movie Aashiqui, the actress was loved for her role in the movie and looked very confident and promising, Unfortunately, Anu failed to maintain success by making poor choices in the scripts. The actress left the film industry to make spirituality and yoga in her life. Sources revealed that she said goodbye to the film industry in 1996, and started teaching yoga to poor children.
Well, these were the actresses from the 90s who tried to make it big in Bollywood but due to some reasons, they became unnoticed by the acting Industry.
