MUMBAI: Acclaimed producer Rashmi Sharma, maker of well-known television shows such as Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Sasural Simar Ka, and Swaragini and many more, is bringing a new show titled Durga on Star Bharat.
There are reports about Hamari Bahu Silk fame Chahat Pandey and Palak Purswani, who rose to fame with Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, will play the lead roles.
Now, we hear that talented actress Rakshanda Khan, who is part of the television industry over decades now and known for her stint in shows like Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasamh Se, Naagin 3, Brahmarakshas and many more, has joined the cast of the show.
According to our sources, she will play the main antagonist in the serial.

Rashmi Sharma Telefilms are currently producing Shakti on Colors, Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 and Lockdown Ki Love Story on Star Plus and Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein on &TV.
