Rohini Hattangady, Harsh Chhaya in Karm Yudh

DD National will launch a new show titled Karm Yudh starting 9 April which will air at 8:30 pm. The show stars veterans in Rohini Hattangady, Harsh Chhaya, Vaishnavi, Bakul Thakkar and Uday Tikekar. Karm Yudh is a story of Deputy Home Minister Yashwant Chouhan and his wife Shivangi. Yashwant is a successful leader and Shivangi is an upright police officer. Both are idealists and have argument over different issues time and again. Their lives are turned upside down when all of a sudden Shivangi is charged for a murder allegedly committed by her several years ago. The dead man’s elder brother Mr. Mehta is an industrialist and party funder also. He takes up the issue vociferously. Yashwant orders an enquiry against Shivangi. She does not reveal what had transpired on that unfortunate day and decides to wait for the law to take its own course. Yashwant faces tremendous opposition but stands the onslaught bravely. After some time Shivangi reveals to Yashwant that the man who died actually tried to rape a woman and while trying to save her the man was killed accidentally. Life becomes tough for the family but they fight it out courageously. After several twists and turns, trials and tribulations – Yashwant emerges victorious. Karm Yudh also features Jitendar Hirawat and Abhay Bhargav. The show conceived and directed by Kewal Sethi will air from Thursday to Saturday.
