Ganpati is here and the air is filled with euphoria and exuberance. And TV shows across are known to capture the festive mood and fill the bedrooms of TV buffs with gaiety and jauntiness. So what have the creatives across channels decided to revere Ganpati bappa in the small screen space this season? Here’s a lowdown… 4 Lions Films’ Arjun on Star Plus will see some awesome Ganpati celebrations. As per the plot a notorious person will try to create ruckus in Mumbai during the festival. This is when Arjun (Shaleen Malhotra) will come in the picture and save the city. Our sources have mentioned that the creatives have used an antique and one of its kind Ganpati idol for the sequence. Quite interesting!!! While on Zee TV this majorly Maharashtrian festival will be celebrated on Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta. The sequences are yet to be shot. Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s Kairi and Sunrise Productions’ Sasural Simar Ka on Colors will see some real dhamaal. In Kairi, things are not really going well in Anuj’s (Naman Shaw) life. Hence the pandit will ask him to arrange Ganesh puja to get rid of evil influences. Furthermore, in Sasural Simar Ka, Khushi (Jyotsna Chandola) will visit a Ganesh pandal to seek blessings for Simar’s baby (she is the surrogate mother). SAB TV’s R K Laxman Ki Duniya and Chidiya Ghar will also see Ganpati celebrations with much pomp and glory. Sahara One and Life OK are yet to plan something on Ganesh Chaturthi.
