Rishi is inclined towards music so he decides to come to Mumbai and Alpana just follows him to explore the city. It is a nice character.” Narayan has to shoot for another day or two for Powder, “I do not consider television as a small medium; it has a wider reach. But daily soaps are not my cup of tea therefore when Powder was offered to me I agreed to do it because it is a mini-series of 26 episodes. I am going to do more projects on television as I want to make my profile.” She has also bagged a pivotal role in BBC’s Indian version of Afterlife. “I have finished shooting for yet another film called Maksad where I am playing an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police). It is a story about how one criminal carries explosives and how the police treat him. My character is very notorious; she will solve her cases in her own way. Parveen Dabas and Yashpal Sharma are also in the film. Then there are some more projects which I will start in the middle of this year.”
