MUMBAI: Sony Liv has always been the hub of entertainment, be it crime or comedy, the platform had offered the best of the shows and movies this year, and now the platform is back with another hilarious rollercoaster ride of love, comedy and family confusions with a SitCom show titled “Sandwiched Forever”. The 15-episodic sitcom is directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Studio Next, Sandwiched Forever stars Aahana Kumra and Kunaal Roy Kapur in the lead, along with Zakir Hussain, Divya Seth Shah, Atul Kulkarni and Lubna Salim amongst others. And the show is written by The Kapil Sharma Show fame Bharat Kukreti.
The story speaks about the newlyweds Sameer and Naina who buy a flat adjoining to Naina’s parents, later Sameer’s parents also end up becoming their neighbors soon after. Later we see both the families start making the smallest decision of Sameer and Naina’s lie and how the situation for them is difficult and yet hilarious to see, is what the show speaks about, the situation comedy is the USP of the show which will keep you hooked and booked through the entire show.
The screenplay of the show is decent and manages to keep your attention on the screens, but loses its grip in between, also the direction of the show is also good and every character of the show has its own uniqueness and you will love them the way they have been portrayed in the show.

Performances are the USP of the show, every character is unique and has something great to offer to the show, Kunal Roy Kapoor as Sameer and as a loving husband is good in the show his comic timing is hilarious and will surely make you laugh, on the other hand Aahana Kumar as the wife Naina is good too, her expression an comic timing too are amazing, well talking about comedy then the 2 characters who are the life of the series is Zakir Hussain and Atul Kulkarni, both the actor have given their best shot in this show and have delivered one of their best, and it’s a treat to watch them both on screen, whenever they have appeared they made sure you will laugh. On the other hand Divya Seth Shah and Lubna Salim were also good in the show.
The positive point of the show can be the concept which is fresh and unique the concept of SitCom is amazing and it is nicely shown in the show, also the performances of all the actors in the show is a treat to watch, also the chain on situation which got carried throughout the show is amazing which adds to the title of the show, and he fact that the show is filled with light hearted jokes which will make sure that you will laugh and have a smile on your face is something amazing.
The negative points of the show can be that the screenplay in between loses its grip and you may find the series little boring but again the great performances will save your interest to go down, also few jokes you may find little forceful or unnecessary for the situation.
In Spite of very few negative points the series “Sandwiched Forever” is a SitCom which is worth your time and can be seen at least once.
