TAM rating for Week 39 (23 to 29 September 2012) - Colors gets back to number 2 position

This week the TRPs have come on a Thursday (instead of usual Wednesday) for 2 October was a public holiday. Anyways…let’s get down to the number business. Talking about channels; Star Plus has gone up with 268 GRPs from last week’s 252. On the other hand, Colors’ (233) has shot up to bag the number 2 spot. Here we would like to state that it did not see any spike in GRPs, but the jump is the result of Zee TV seeing a slump (217 from week 38’s 235). Sony Entertainment Television (202), Life OK (124) and SAB TV (122) are third, fourth and fifth rated channels in the TRP ladder respectively. Coming to the shows, Diya Aur Baati Hum maintains its numero uno position with 6.7 TVR while Balika Vadhu stays at second spot yet again with 4.1 TVR. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Saath Nibhana Saathiya both tied for the third position with 3.7 TVR. While on the other hand… Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai hit the figure of 3.4 TVR. In the non-fiction genre… Dance Ke Superkids finale got 3.9 TVR which is the highest TVR for a reality show in Week 39. And the first episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa got an opening of 2.5 TVR.
