In a recent interview, Gagan had shared a compliment that he received saying, “I am told that I look a lot like Arun Govilji.” For the uninitiated, while Arun Govil was the first ever Ram, Gurmeet Choudhary who recently went on to win Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5 on Colors played Ram when it was remade. However, the above-mentioned statement of Gagan did not go down well with the fans of Gurmeet (they felt Gagan meant to cold shoulder Gurmeet). And Gagan started to get hate mails from fans.
