MUMBAI: TV actress Dipika Kakkar is a woman of many talents. She has just given a new look to her salwar suit. Sharing pics of the same, Dipika explained how she has repurposed her old salwar suit to give it a new look.
It’s a red salwar suit with flower appliqués all over the dress and dupattas. She paired the look with big traditional jhumkas and red glass bangles. The Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum actress added those flowers to her dress. She explained, “How I love playing with fabrics!!! This is an old suit of mine on which I've added these flowers and given it a new look!! And I'm absolutely loving it!!! What about u guys???”.
Repurposing old clothes has been in trend, where one re-uses an old outfit or fabrics to give it a creative spin and create a new look out of it. And this is not the first time when Dipika tried something like this.
Previously, during the lockdown, she would paint on her old tees to give it a vibrant look. She also redesigns dupattas and adds some bling or embroidery to it when unable to step out visit the tailor.
Apart from cooking and baking, the actress loves to indulge in creative activities. From making Rakhi with pulses to painting, her creative mind has no limits.
