Diya Aur Baati Hum completes 300 episodes

Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd. Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus which captures the journey of Suraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Deepika Singh) has been the top show on the TRP chart for months together now. The soap has indeed witnessed phenomenal success. And the good news is that the show completes 300 episodes today (11 October 2012). As per a reliable source cake cutting will take place on the sets sometime in the evening. On the other hand shooting will go on as usual for rest of the day to meet the telecast deadline. Producer Sumeet Mittal will not be around to soak in the moment of success as he is out of town. We got in touch with Deepika Singh who said, “I am very happy about the fact that we complete 300 episodes today. This has been possible only by the grace of God and the love of the audience. We hope they continue loving us.” Kanica Maheshwari aka Meenakshi shared, “It’s nice to have completed 300 episodes and being number one for almost eight months now. But we are waiting to touch the figure of thousand like Balika Vadhu and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.” The actress is currently in Delhi but she said, “My best wishes are with my team… no matter where I am.” Congo…team Diya Aur Baati…
