After a two-year hiatus, Karan Johar is all set to direct Shah Rukh Khan again albeit for a different kind of venture after their last project together, namely My Name Is Khan.
It is already known that four prominent directors like Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee have joined hands to make a feature film titled Bombay Talkies to commemorate the completion of 100 years of Indian cinema.
All the four directors will do a fictional take on how they perceive the genesis and reach of cinema. It is learnt that Karan’s directorial feature that will be of between 20 to 25 minutes duration will star Shah Rukh in the lead. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif has been paired along with Ranbir Kapoor in Zoya's film.
Anurag and Dibakar are yet to finalise their films' cast but rumour has it that Imran Khan will be part of Dibakar's film.
The films of all the four directors would be clubbed as one feature film that will most likely release in May next year (2013).
