Mehul Kajaria on his role in Kumkum Bhagya: My character has all the colours of being a great father to my son Ranbir

Mehul Kajaria gets candid about his character Vikram Kohli in Kumkum Bhagya.

MUMBAI: Zee TV's show Kumkum Bhagya has been successfully running on the small screens since 2014. The show has a stellar cast of Sriti Jha, Shabir Ahluwalia, Krishna Kaul, Pooja Banerjee, Mugdha Chapekar, Vin Rana among others. 

The show was going great ever since the beginning, however, it managed to keep the viewers hooked to the screen even after it underwent a leap where a fresh new cast was introduced. 

Mehul Kajaria is one of them who plays a pivotal role on the show. He is seen as Vikram Kohli who plays Ranbir's father. Krishna Kaul portrays the role of Ranbir on the show who is also Mugdha AKA Prachi's love interest.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Mehul got candid about his role on the show and much more. 

When asked Mehul if his character has seen any major changes throughout his journey so far, Mehul said, "My character has not seen any changes but yes, it has all the colours of being a great father to my son Ranbir."

Mehul was asked if there are any similarities between his on-screen character and his real-life personality, Mehul said, "I am more or less the same. I have a daughter who is 8-years-old so I am also more of a friend to my daughter."

Mehul also revealed the bonding he shares with his on-screen son Ranbir. The actor said that he and Krishna are like brothers in real-life and enjoy each other's company.

The actor has starred in shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Teen Bahuraniyaan, Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na among others. 

Mehul says he is blessed to be a part of such a great show which is running successfully on the small screens for many years now.
