MUMBAI: TellyChakkar was the first one to break the news about television’s popular comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show, produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia, going off air temporarily.
There are reports of The Kapil Sharma Show going off-air mid-February because of the lack of promotions of films and live audiences. The makers have decided to pull the plug on the show. The project is undergoing a few creative changes and will be back in a revamped avatar after a short break.
The show currently stars Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek among others and with Kapil Sharma’s wife Ginni expecting her second baby, it’s fitting that he takes a break from work.
TellyChakkar has learnt that the channel plans to re-run old episodes of Kapil’s show and eventually replace it with the fourth season of Super Dancer.
Super Dancer is expected to launch by the end of February or beginning of March. The show will continue to have Geeta Kapur, Shilpa Shetty and Anurag Basu as the judges while Rithvik Dhanjani and Paritosh Tripathi will return as hosts.
Stay tuned to TellyChakkar for more updates!
