MUMBAI: Vikas Gupta mentioned on the show thrice about his strained relationship with his family. During the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode, host Salman Khan asked him the reason behind spilling family's secrets on national television. He said that they don't want to know if his equation with family is good or bad but it was brought up thrice in the house.

The first time was when Arshi Khan spoke about how Vikas Gupta will always stay alone as his family has disowned him, and he pushed her in the pool. The second time was when he took off his mic and spoke everything about himself and his family with Aly Goni. The third time was when he revealed that he has a loan of Rs.1.8 crore and family are being good to him because they indirectly become his heir because of Vikas' sexuality.

Host Salman Khan asked Vikas Gupta why did he feel the need to talk about it inside the house. He further added that there was no need for him to speak about it in the first place. He explained that when he was inside the house, he couldn't say anything because he was tied with these thoughts and when he went out, he realised that every single thing was affecting him because of his internal emotional turmoil.

Salman Khan reminded Vikas that Aly even asked him to let go things as she is his mother. The host told Vikas that it was him, who loathed when outside talks were discussed inside the house during Bigg Boss 11. 

Also referring to the issue and contestant (Priyank Sharma) that he came along in the house, they sorted out their differences too and completed their journey, then why did he (Vikas) have outside discussions in the house this season?

Vikas clarified himself by saying that he loves his mom and would get affected by one-liners like 'tu toh akela hi rahega life mein' (You will stay lonely your entire life). He admitted that he was going through a bad mental phase where the slightest of comment would trigger him. "Nobody cared what I was going through inside the house and either way.", said Vikas Gupta.

Salman Khan made him understand that it's okay to get upset on our parents. "Ultimately, it is because of them that you are here inside the house and on this planet.", said the host.

Vikas continued with his explanation, saying that he wanted people to know that this isn't right. Half-truth being told, it has led to several false theories which affect him. Vikas Gupta added that he is unable to explain himself because he gets nervous and tends to eat up words while talking. "I wanted it to be off my chest.", said the contestant, who got eliminated after this discussion due to low votes.

Vikas said that after the discussion about his family, there was nothing else that would trigger or hurt him and there was nothing that they could tell him more than this. Salman Khan asked Vikas if he regrets speaking about it his family on the show, to which, he told the host, "I will try to change my habits.".

Host Salman Khan said that they wanted to know Vikas Gupta's family's side too and had contacted them. However, they refused to speak up about it. Salman Khan revealed, "They said we don't want to come on national television and discuss our family matters.".

Lastly, Salman Khan advised Vikas Gupta to use a strong mind, strong heart and know what to say and where he is saying.
