MUMBAI: With numerous actors entering and exiting the industry day in and day out, it is very rare to see a friendship last. More so, with hectic schedules, it does not leave an actor much time to take time out to socialize and meet their close ones.
However, the friendship between Ayub Khan and Deepshika Nagpal, who have worked together in numerous TV soaps, has a different story to tell. They’ve been friends for ages and are once again being seen together on television in Ranju Ki Betiyaan.
Sharing her happiness, Deepshika said, "Ayub and I have known each other since forever. The first show we did together was Karishma Ka Karishma which was 16 years back and since then, we are the best of friends. We are inseparable, my kids are fond of him, we celebrate family functions, festivals together. I have very few friends who have stood with me during hard times and Ayub is one of them. He is my bestie, saheli, a fantastic actor and a very good human being. When I came to know Ayub is playing the role of my husband Guddu Mishra in Ranju Ki Betiyaan, I was very happy as there is a level of understanding, comfortability and the chemistry is really translating on screen.".
Ranju Ki Betiyaan is a heart touching story of a single mother Ranju played by Reena Kapoor and her struggles of raising 4 daughters in a patriarchal society.
