Choreographer Nishant Bhatt puts on his acting boots for Gumrah

Choreographer Nishant Bhatt has featured in quite a few dance reality shows on Indian television, having participated thrice in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. And now, spreading wings, he is all set to put on his acting boots and enact a cameo Balaji Telefilms’ and Lost Boy Productions’ Gumrah (Channel V and Star Plus). Earlier in the day we reported about Syed Zafar Ali being part of an episodic of the show. Nishant too will be a part of the same story. He will play one of the friends of the boy (Syed) who murders the girl he has got physical with. In fact, our source tells us that Nishant will have a group of four friends, which will also include the girl who will get murdered. We at Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Nishant who confirmed the same and said, “Yes, I am doing an episodic of Gumrah. In fact my friends from the TV industry had been forcing me to get into acting for quite some time now. So I finally gave it a try and got selected for Gumrah.” The chorographer is excited about being a part of his best friend Karan Kundra’s show as he went on to tell us, “Karan and I are very good friends hence, it’s fun to be a part of the show he anchors.” Does this mean that the chorographer is planning to give up on dancing? “No… I will continue choreographing but acting will definitely be on the cards now” All the best….Nishant!!!
