After Neeti and Shakti, it's Mukti now enjoying her spot in the sun

The Mohan sisters are on a roll! First it was Neeti who enthralled the viewers with her silken voice in Music Ka Maha Muqabla. Then it was Shakti -- who burnt the Dance India Dance 2 floor and now it’s the turn of younger sister Mukti, who has decided to show her moves in Star's new reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. "Apart from Shakti, Neeti and me, we have another sister, Kirti who works in a call centre,” smiles Mukti. Is she also creative and talented like her siblings? "She is a very good dancer too. Who knows, you may see her performing in a show one day.”

Who knows, you may see her performing in a show one day.” The girls are really having a time in the sun. “Yes, because our parents never treated us like girls. We were like their sons and were given a lot of freedom. Today, they are extremely proud of us," says Shakti. So how did she land up in Zara Nachke Dikha? "I am a trained dancer and am comfortable with various styles including Hip Hop, Ballet and even Bharat Natyam. In fact, I learned Bharat Natyam for nine years before taking up other dance forms. I was looking out for opportunities in the television industry and had got a few offers," says she, who currently teaches at the Terrence Lewis Dance Academy. "But when the channel approached me with this offer directly, I was thrilled. Though I have been dancing for a long time, being on the same stage with celebrities like Sangeeta Ghosh and Rakhi Sawant is a completely different ballgame. I immediately agreed. This is a very good break for me," explains Mukti. Mukti is quite positive about the outcome of the show. "We girls want to win and I know we will." What about her sister Shakti? "I think she has a fair chance to win the title. Last year Salman won the title, but I feel it will be a girl's time this year. And who better to win the title than Shakti!" concludes Mukti.
