MUMBAI: Looks like Shaleen Malhotra is Ram Gopal Verma’s new blue-eyed boy!
TellyChakkar broke the news about Mr Malhotra bagging Bollywood noted Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma’s upcoming gangster-based series for one of the leading OTT platforms.
Ram Gopal Varma, often referred to by his initials RGV, is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer, known for his work in Telugu and Hindi films alongside television.
The latest we hear is that Shaleen has bagged yet another web-series of RGV which is slated to launch on MX Player.
According to our sources, it is an action-thriller based series which is inspired by true events. The actor has already left for Hyderabad where the shooting will take place.
Shaleen confirmed the news and shared, “ I am playing a role which I have not experimented earlier yet again. I am excited to work with RGV sir again.”
Shaleen Malhotra has played varied roles in shows like Arjun, Ishqbaaaz, Laado - Veerpur Ki Mardani and gained immense love with his character of Rishi in Sony TV’s Mere Dad Ki Dulhan.
