My real friends are my school friends as they know me from the time I was not an actor, says Shivshakti Sachdev

Shivshakti Sachdev who essays the role of Pinky in Zee TV's Afsar Bitiya, produced by Village Boy Productions juggles well between her studies and acting career. She is presently doing her correspondence in B.A and is in the second year. Shares Shivshakti, "I love my show Afsar Bitiya. I don’t have any issues doing a negative role, as I never feel that I will be stereotyped. I am an actor and I would love to do different kinds of roles. And soon my new season of Suite Life of Jack and Cody on Disney channel will begin, so there’s no reason where I shall be typecast."

On her off-screen camaraderie with Afsar Bitiya team, she states, "I gel with everyone on the sets. Kinshuk Mahajan and I are like brothers, we are cool dudes, and love each other’s company. On the other hand, Mitali Nag and I share the same room. We chat, and enjoy ourselves." When we asked Shivshakti about her relationship status, she quickly states,“I like some people. I have crushes and they are a part and parcel of my life. I take them as my fans or as a compliment. I do not have any crush on anyone on Afsar Bitiya sets. I have quite a number of fans, and that's it. Recently a fan from London had come to meet me.” Talking about future plans, the bubbly actress says, “I want to act, but I have nothing else in mind. I am currently doing BA correspondence, and I take a break of almost 15 days in advance to prepare for my exams. In the college, there are people who try to be extra sweet to me, but at times I feel it is fake. My only real friends are my school friends as they know me from the time I was not an actor. I would love to do MBA after my BA ,that too through correspondence”, she ends. Shivshakti, may you have a great career ahead.
